Ok, getting really fed up here.
I set everything up (sugar, yeast, water) and connect it all up. There are no leaks and the water is it a good temp. Inside the bottle are lots of bubbles being produced and i just wait for the pressure to build up and to see bubbles misting out of the diffuser. I wait, and wait and nothing happens. As a couple hours go by the water in the bottle cools and hardly any bubbles are being produced. What do i do? Do i need to keep the bottle warm?
Im really lost here.
Thanks for the help :)

The water is about 30 degrees but as time goes on it cools down and nothing is produced unless i swirl the bottle a bit.

Are you 100% certain there are no leaks?
The water only needs to be warm to get the yeast activated. After that it can be kept at room temperature.

What amount of sugar are you adding and what kind of yeast? Are you sure the yeast is ok?

Im sure there are no leaks because when i had it all riged up and put the tubing into the tank not attatched to diffuser, bubbles were coming out of it everey second practically.
100g of sugar as the bottle is a 1 litre bottle. Yeast was bought recently and is Hovis bakers yeast.

Thanks.

So there are bubbles coming out if you dont have the diffuser connected, but when you connect it up that's when there's no bubbles?

That was the case when it had been set up for about an hour and is also happening now if the bottle is swirled. The bubbles though do stop after a several seconds.

it dont happen straight away.....................use tepid water not warm....and give it a day to start working....'A WATCHED POT NEVER BOILS' as the saying goes

Haha ok ill do that. Just hate seeing the algae monster take over. You should see my "java moss" its basically just thready algae :X

Ok. CO2 is being produced well and comes out of the tubing in the tank if the diffuser isnt connected. When the diffuser is connected nothing comes out of it and i can actually see the CO2 gas in the tubing retreat away from the diffuser and back to the bottle  Anyone know whats going on?

Can't see anything blocking it. If water was trying to get into the tubing wouldnt the CO2 pressure push it out?
