adding fish soon i got told to squeeze the bactaria into the other sponge from filter in new one and cut 1cm off the bottom of the sponge and put it in with the media of the new one. so would i be able to put fry in that when i do this? so have i done it right so far?

yeh i was going to do that or clean my other filter and then squeeze it into the other filter would this work as good?

i have just bought a tank and i am trying to clone it for my fry its a 8 gal, this is what i have done: put water in the tank put the water conditioner init set up air pump and got oxygen thing got a heater put sand in from my other tank and ornaments and plants is this right i getting filter...

yep sand is so much better a couple of days after gettin my cories i changed to sand and now there really happy i thought about play sand mine i have got cost a bomb

i have a sponge filter aswell i have quite big gravel so might take it out then i will have to take theugf out anyway i dont no what rocks yet could you sugest any?

do you get any hassle off the orange tetra things with the white tips i had some and they bullied all my other fish they were right nasty things soz i cant help you with the plants no very good with them
