Here's a quick test. If you take it out of water and the leaves stand upright, its non aquatic. It will survive submerged for a while but it will eventually rot.

Perhaps someone else on this forum can give a second opinion on this plant.

This happens with my java fern though.
 
No its not a true aquatic, it stays alive for a month or two, but gradually rots.Lots of LFS sell it unfortunately. Dubbys test works for most real aquatic plants.
Java fern, anubias among others are rarely eaten by fish.
