thats where most of it is (the good bacteria).



there also some in the gravel and you can use that in the new tank.


if the new tank has sand or a different gravel then put some in a stocking and put that in the tank. makes it easy to get it out again without messing up your sand.

also am i aloud plants in it at the moment. i would think so but just making sure that it is ok without fully cyled water and no filter
