I wouldnt advise you to use the name Skales & Tails, There is alredy a reptile shop called Scales and Tails so it may cause problems for you. How about seeing as your going to be doing most pets "The One Stop 4 Pets " :hyper:

Errr right :blink: A herd of chinchillas is not a species its the name used when someone keeps a number of chins there is only 3 species of Chinchillas and they are Brevicadata, Lanigera and the Costina no matter what breed they are babies should not be seperated before 12 weeks old and Kits...

Rabbits can not live with GPs ,they have different dietry needs,they can seriously injure a GP when they are running around and kicking out and rabbits carry a bacteria that they can live with quite happily but if they pass it onto a GP it can be fatal. GPs can have Cucumber but in moderation...

I agree GPs def need company of their own kind. They are herd animals so should be kept with at least 1 more GP. You do occasionaly get one that wont live in the same cage but even then they should be able to see and hear other GPs that live in a cage next to them I will never rehome a single GP...

Please do not split the young from mum at 1-2 months old :blink: .Kits have to stay with mum for 12 weeks Males can also live together quite happily as long as they are not in the same room as the females :rolleyes:

I am not at all suprised. Not sure if your aware but a lot of the pets in the adoption section of P@H are animals that have come from their own sale cages that have grown past the cute stage for selling or for some other reason they wont sell very easy

I grew up with Poodles,all 3 sizes and Dalmatians,I showed mini poodles untill 1998 when we won best puppy in breed at crufts. I stopped showing poodles soon after due to arthritis and not being able to do the clipping any longer but still have 1 poodle. I lost my last Dalmatian in 2008 aged 15...

I have quite a few normal hairy GPs aswell as the skinnys but the skinnys definatly have more personality,they are always the first to the cage fronts and when they are out of the cages they come and sit on my feet

He is gorgeous. I have a one called Charlie who is 3 yrs old now. He follows you everywhere but you do have to be carefull in the breeding season,he tries to mount the dogs :crazy: Charlie
