yea a bit ...but most of them are young fishes. once they get bigger , i will find space for them. in a way, when u overstock juvenile fishes , they tend to grow faster, they eat more and grab whatever food thats been offered . simply actually , if a fish dont eat, the fish next to him surely...

two weeks should be fine. turn the co2 system a bit more during this period. what i usually do is ...i would let my plants grow a little longer before adding in fishes, i dont want to take risk while im turning the co2 on, in a newly planted tank.

easy!...remove the loaches. keep them somewhere else for the time being. once the glosso had established and the roots grown deep into the gravel they pretty hard to uproot...only then do u release your loaches. glosso are fast growing plants under the right condition. this tank is about 7...

well...we in asia do not always do things by the book, but anyhow we do alot experiments with our cichlids. surinamensis is a cheap fish ...they are not sold as ones or twos like what FS in the west do. they sold here in packs of 30, 50 or 100. a 30 pack of 3 inch juveniles will cost about 10...

easy actually ...living in asia does have its advantages when it comes to a planted tank. first of all the tropical climate makes those plants grow like crazy...i had to avoid fast growing plants..( i hate trimming :no: ). then there are no seasonal changes...so i skip the cost of buying...

cant say much about that...but mine grows from 3 to 6 inch in less than 5 months...and thats pretty fast. mine is kept in 7x2x2feet tank, feed with chopped prawns, live shrimps, live fish, live oat worms, boiled rice, and dog pellets. hehehe, i cant afford the regular fish pellet ...so i feed...
