So, I read the best way to plant glosso is by planting one part at a time, with tweezers. So i did this yesterday. I wake up today, and since my zebra loaches are pretty active, half of glosso stems have uprooted. I noticed it is going to be very hard to plant glosso.

Any tips to stop it from uprooting?

easy!...remove the loaches. keep them somewhere else for the time being. once the glosso had established and the roots grown deep into the gravel they pretty hard to uproot...only then do u release your loaches.
glosso are fast growing plants under the right condition.

this tank is about 7 months. i planted the glosso about 5 months back
note the roots and runners. i use mix gravel, clay and riverbed debris. the bed must be deep and soft enough for the roots to grow deeper. a gravel only bed, doesnt usually bring results for fast growing roots. keep the Ph at 7, temp at 24-26C. glosso do not do well in higher temp.

thanks for the info, however i would move them but i dont have room. the only other tank i have is a 10g, and i already have 6 cardinals, 2 corys and an old platy.

i could move them in their for a couple days, but seems like the roots for the glosso will take longer than that. or am i wrong?
thanks

two weeks should be fine. turn the co2 system a bit more during this period. what i usually do is ...i would let my plants grow a little longer before adding in fishes, i dont want to take risk while im turning the co2 on, in a newly planted tank.

sorry to hijack but ARI, your tank is awesome.

why dont you post some pics in the members pics forum, i'd love to see more of that tank. (and any more you may have)
