Ok cool. I think I get a female with that black lace ct so that will be cool. My male is big but he is red and blue...
Plus my mom let me use a big room for all my bettas it is being set up atm which is friggin sweet. All that room for bettas!!!!! I could take a pic...

Yes. You should get a crowntail sibling female with the male from thailand.
As in my hand for pair to breed, I have red chilli pair that ready to breed. I can sellect a solid red or butterfly pair. If you not in a hurry to breed like two months, blue line is another option to go for your future to breed. I have two types of blue line. One will be many rays like 16 rays singletail off spring halfmoon geno and the other will throw out 50% big tail double tail. Both sensation since the father is the same but different mother. So far the singletail parent throwout all kind of colors. Melano, green, blue, steel, butterfly and few marble. The doubletail also throw out except melano.
I remember you want some cello females and I have that too. No cello male so far.

I can tells. Oh yes, I have a top 16 rays green metallic halfmoon pair to let go. I already had one batch and planning to get the second batch this week. I need second batch because the babies female get big very fast in the first batch so the second batch will be my spare. After that, I am letting it go for the pair to people who want to continue to breed them in aquabid. They both still very young and will produces many batches. If you interested, I can hold it for you.

Wow, I actually hadn't noticed females being that much more expensive...
Around here, veiltail females are the same price as males and my LFS gets some pretty nice CT females in that are only slightly more expensive than the males of equal quality (like 20% more)
On Aquabid females often come free with purchase of a nice male, and when sold by themselves, aren't but a few dollars more expensive than the males unless they're EXTREMELY nice quality. I mean hey, you can get a really nice female with great finnage for free when you buy a male, but you'll have to pay a pretty penny if you want a rarety like a female with 8+ rays
