I'm getting sort of bored with my tank, I've had it about the same for a year, and after seeing another members Asian themed tank, I've decided to try my hand at it. I need some easy plants from Asia. Lighting levels will be about 2.5 or 3 WPG, and I'll be running DIY CO2. I think I may to grow live bamboo, but I'm not sure how well that will work out.

ohhh we have this really easy to take care of plant here that grows like weeds along the lakes here ....

Microsorum pteropus ''Philippine''

there! thats it ! i think its quite expensive abroad but here its dirt cheap :p

well, there are plenty of beautifull plants from asia, but i cant say if there is any easy plant, maybe apart from the java fern and anubias....u dont even need good lighting or co2 for them.
but most plant aquarist in asian would usually avoid them since they are considered kids stuff
but then again they are worth trying ...and they really look nice if u plant plenty of them in your tank.

Crypts are Asian, and many are very easy to grow. Many will tolerate lower lighting levels as well being forest plants.
