LOL, i use tap water and a towel and then give it that 'polish' dry with a sock :lol:

If the tank is too small the fish will become stunted. What happens is the physical form of the fish stops growing, but the internal organs don't.

Agree with this, most people that do it too are in there young 20s and think it's cool because it's a massive fish and will eat pretty much anything so they feed it goldfish ect. You never know though, maybe he sold a larger tank and had to hold the oscars in there for now?

My GT does this, gived up feeding wafers.. pleco just comes to the surface in corner to be fed now (slight hand feed) lol.

RO water made my GT like a zombie, once i switched back to tap water he perked well up.

I used all water from my main tank into the Q tank and then refilled the main tank with tap water. It's been set up for 3 days now. Main tank pH: 6.8 Q tank pH: 7.6

I know After treatment carbon in your filter can remove the medicine. A few larger water changes would be just as good, yeah or? - just incase people don't have carbon.

eBay/Websites? You could always do as Athena said about getting some mature filter media but you'd still need a test kit really.
