Got some slate for making the BN caves. Spent £7.50 in a LFS for about 3kg.

Sure enough, wandered next door to the garden center afterwards and found slate for half the price.

When will I learn not to buy decor from LFS???

I 'stole' a big slate rock and smashed it up with a sledge hammer, almost took a few green house windows with me though
Don't use it anymore, apart from the little bit in my 55g so there's a garden full atm - even pieces big enough it'd take a few men to lift, i should sell some

The final fish from the old tank have been moved across. Adult angel in and very little to concern me over the last 8 hours. If anything, the juvi's are showing more aggression to him/her than vice versa.

Cracking zz, the vallis is excellent. Angels look great in there too! The tank itself is stunning too!

thanks again....there's not any plants in there that are 'difficult' to grow, as I'm not in anyway up to speed on the plated side of aquariums.

LFS has 10 neons for £5.....hmmm, a nice schoal of 30-40 would look good I think.

Just consider when the Angels are older though, Neons form part of their diet in the wild. But alot of people do it and they're fine with them. I say get 20!!

I currently have 10 neons in there who have lived happily with my adult angel for about 8 months, hence why I'm comfortable with adding more.

Go and get another 10 or 20 then.

I had to put all my fish in one tank whilst we had a new carpet fitted and when i came to put them all back to normal i was 3 short... all with heads missing.

Just my experience though, like i said, alot of people do this all the time.

and is why it's very tempting. I was going to increase the harlequins, but for that price I'm swayed to the neons.....which do of course keep with the eventual SA theme goal of the tank.

Would you consider rehoming the Rasbora's to have a larger shoal of neons that like you fit in well with the theme?
