Yh on the ehiem i can the minimum intake is 3 lites a minute i thin or 180 liters an hour/480. Which is still powerful. The one i want to get can do i think 100 litres to 380 litres an hour.

Otos are fine in smaller tanks. I've had 4 in a 30 litre biorb modified with sand subtrate and an ehiem aqauball 2208. Three of them have lived in there for a year and months. The other one i got a couple of days ago.

I think my BN is lazy at feeding times. He knows when it is because normally he does suck on the glass. When feeding time comes he goes in the cave and waits for me to drop it into his cave.

LOts of replys already. This may sound like a doumb question but i don't what you mean by live foods. Is it like a live worm you put into your aqaurium and it starts to swim around? I feed them king british blood worms as a treat.

Your ammonias a bit high. It has to be 0 as it is very toxic to fish. Try do 10% water change every day until it goes to 0.

Try hikari mini floating pellets. I think they're called that. I think tetra min crisps are the best staple food but your going to have to crush them up if you use them. The harlequins and neons have small mouths, they're the fish you have to break it up for.

They have sunken bellies, some have ulcers and another one of my Lampeye Killifish is starting to look a bit fat like the the other one that died today morning. The one that died in the morning had a picone effect. It's scales were popping off.
