Any particular brands avaliable in the UK of light? I know when i see people with firefish maroon clownfish in like 2 gallons, i just think mean and i dont want to be one of those people

Right i have a tank that is 4.5 US gallons (im in the UK but it only has the US gallonage on it) I could have in the basic set up (without salt, hydrometer... etc) -The tank -Heater -Powerheads -2-3KG liverock -Sand -A table lamp(or something for light) -Have i missed anything??? What kind...

I would have thought you could do a FO in a nano, my next door neighbour has done one. Its a 24x12x15. She has 2 clowns with lots of decoration rock. It look really nice, she uses treated tap water and has had no problems in about 3 years apart from an algea bloom or 2.

Could LS be the main filteration in a nano tank? Thanks opinions and answers welcome

Well if you want a small tank with corals etc i would say a 20 gallon you could go smaller if you want but 20 is a nice size nano. You wont need a skimmer on a tank this size (if your wondering). RO water is the best water you can get. Use the RO water. I would do a 20-30% water change a week...

BW That seems quite alot maby 2, 50% a week maby saturday and wednesday! :D that should be fine. Better yet y not buy a little air pump and those connector filters, only cost a few pounds.

I live in london, does anyonhe know of breeders. I am talkin about pet shops, they are so unhappy, they keep them in a thing 3" by 2" i wouldent buy one from there because they dont give them propper care!

I live in london, there is no sun at the mo, but its still very humid, you will want to keep the tank OUT of direct sunlight!

With no tank heater and the tank neer a window the draughts that come through the window could change the tempature, quickly! and also is that a radiator its on top of! :D AQUAKING Do you have to be so sarcastic? PS- the sand looks a little deep! could create dead spots PPS- nice nets
