GodMadeDirt, why are you even in the saltwater forum? That would require you to put salt in your tanks. The last I checked you were still a saltwater virgin.. :lol:

That is true. The base rock is dull and looks like it came from your front yard. The live rock has all kinds of stuff growing on it. It's really slimmy and smells like the ocean when it's cured. In the pictures I think you can really tell the difference between the two. I mixed them all together...

That is the exact same thing that happen to me.. My advice would be to get some Nitromax as soon as possible. That will add bateria back into your tank.

Right, you can add live rock anytime. I would get it already cured if you can because if not it can really increase your ammonia levels. You want to add a little at a time. IMO Good Luck! :good:
