I am an avid namer-of-fishes!  Here's my list of what I can remember.  Post some of yours!

Guppies:
Jack (name of my best mate)
Nick (name of my other best mate)
Abby (originally "female A")
Betty (originally "female B")
Jack Jr. (spawn)
Abby Jr. (spawn)
Betty Jr. (spawn)
Cirrus (white tail resembling the cloud type, cirrus)
Kida (swam with Milo a lot)
Tchaikovsky (Russian composer)
Nina (Russian composer's wife)

Platies:
Milo (Mickey Mouse Platy - he seemed socially awkward like Milo Thatch from Atlantis)

Mollies:
Mikki
Minnie
Clark Kent (He is a stowaway from a plant.  He survived thorough rinses of the plant.  He is resilient like Superman!)

Swordtails:
King (king of the tank, of course)
Jumper (jumped out of the quarantine tank a few times)

DGs:
Jarvis (Iron Man's super-computer assistant.  He was a great companion in my dorm room.  Good times, RIP buddy.)

Bettas:
Scherbatsky (Like Robin Scherbatsky from How I Met Your Mother)
Rachmaninov (Russian composer)

Pea Puffer:
Wasabi (He just looks like a little ball of wasabi!)

Rummynose Tetras:
Survivor (survivor of two separate ich outbreaks)
The Rescue (He was rescued from being alone in a tank full of angelfish in my LFS!)

Hope you enjoyed my fish names!  Share some of yours if you'd like! :)

The only ones I've really made the effort to name are my Oscars who are Iguazu (Iggy for short) and Kerepakupai Merú (known as Merú), named after South American waterfalls.

The Royal Whiptails have ended up, rather flippantly, called Norbert, Nora and Derek and the male twig fish is Charlie Farley for some reason.  Female twig fish is Twiglet for self explanatory reasons.  Oh, and one of the Dwarf Chain Loach has ended up been called Porkpie as she (I assume) is huge next to the others and very rotund.

Male Guppy: Falon

Female Guppies: Venus, Dulce (pronounced dule-say), Sofie, and Angel

I have 18 corys right now, so i can't tell them apart. :p Once I get rid of most of them i should be able to name them. :)

Bettas:
Jules (because colors reminded me if jewels and because of Jules Vern)
Jack Frost (kids named him because his ice blue colors reminded them of the character from the movie rise of the guardians)

ADFs:
Pip & Pop cause I couldn't to tell them apart, but now one (I assume female) is notably larger so may-be I'll rename them

My albino corydoras have been Hatchetface, Hammertoe, Hatchet (after Hatchetface died), Screwdriver, and Big Hoss. I've had others in this school who were not named.

Only one of my cherry barbs had a name. He was Mcconaughey, or Fancy Pants.

One of the GBRs was named Favorite. A swordtail was named Switchblade. Another was named House. His buddy, a Mickey Mouse platy, was named Wilson. Two other Mickey Mouse platy were named Draco and Harry (I'm a shipper, see?).

All my nerite snails are named Snelly.

My betta fish have been named King (a blue veil tail), Hendrix (a purple veil tail), Honey (a pink/orange veil tail), Delta (red crowntail), Phoenix (red/blue/purple crowntail), Pistol (black copper with purple halfmoon), Poseidon (blue/green mustard gas halfmoon plakat), and all my female betta, all halfmoon, all named after Greek goddesses (there are sixteen, so I'm not naming all of them), among them are Hera, Athena, Atalanta, Hecate, Iris, Persephone, Nyx, Baubo, and Themis and Selene.
