They don’t specifically have names but since they are both golden ones…
Goldie and
Locks…*sigh again*; I haven’t decided on names really; but they get called “the eels” lol.

My boyfriends male betta is called:
Fido (courtesy of my mam)

He has 2 african dwarf frogs called:
Chloe and Freddy – (although I think Chloe is a male and Freddy a girl but who knows)

He has a load of Danios (leopard and zebra) – who I’ve collectively named “Zanios”, then he has 3 platties (rescues), called “orange platy” and “silver platy” – there are 2 gold ones lol. It’s hard to keep up with names!

Just named my beautiful 3 chocolate gouramis: :hyper:
Terris
Horacio
Abigailia :look:
Good names or what?

Yes, yes it is ;)

Is it just me that finds naming fish kinda silly?
IMO, when its a small shoaling species of fish (rasbora), it would be stupid to name each one. But it makes more sense when you have larger single fish (oscars, gourami)

I'm not that much into naming fish, but once we called our plec Frank this was because he struck me as not being a particularly good swimmer (for a fish) and we had just come back from a holiday in Greece where we had got freindly with a guy over there called Frank, this is the good bit..... we asked Frank why he never went in the pool and he told us that he woke up one day and had forgotton how to swim, Franks wife assured me that this was 100% true, hence our Plec was christened Frank

Most of my fish have names. Only some of which I can really say on a public forum.

My angry little bumblebee's are called

Fuzzlebutt

Avvit
-theres 5 more that end in "it", I can't really say them.

We have Sidley and "currently undecided girly fishfish" the apisto cacatuoides.
Aggro - The angry Aggasizi apisto.

Hopeless, the guppy.

i have a shark called George...
a tiger barb called King Tiger
and a green tiger called Big Mumma.
My plecos are called Dave, Lizzie (best man & wife) and Big Willie (Will helped me collect the latest tank that came with a free pleco  )

The rest are un-named, fighting for originality
