What are you doing today?

I got the covid shot before my trip in September. Today I worked. Yesterday I worked. Tomorrow I will probably work.
going to bed

Today I had an interview with the guardian ad litem that the court appointed, went through a home inspection and interview and then had a much needed nap

I get so sick from the Covid Jab. Fever, chills, lethargy. I have had three full doses, (a story in itself), and three boosters. Each worse than the last, or so it seemed anyway. I see the value in the shot for people in Linda and my situation, old age and chronic conditions associated with that status. Just not sure of how much immunity we have left over from previous jabs. Enough, not enough(?), that is the question. The other factor is we will be at Radio City Music Hall and attend a couple of plays at Proctors over the cold months, so there is that risk of exposure.

As for the flu. In the last 20 years I have caught it once and was VERY sick. That was the only year I missed the shot. It was also the last time. Of course, at that point I was around 100's of people in the workplace.

Anyway, we will decide soon.

I thought I didn't need a flu vaccine till I caught flu.

I was diagnosed with asthma in spring 1998 so I was offered a flu vaccination that autumn as I was now eligible for free vaccination. I didn't bother, or the following year. Then I caught flu in winter 2000. I was taking maximum dose of both preventer and reliever inhalers and having to physically hold my mouth and nose shut to stop me coughing them out as they both said to hold my breath for at least 20 seconds after using them. My throat hurt so much I couldn't swallow anything but soup. My husband finally took me to the out of hours doctor because my temperature was so high that I was hallucinating despite taking medication to lower it.

I've had a flu vaccine every year since then.

One of my beehives was robbed yesterday, maybe by the other hive. I need to put robber screens on them today. Picky customer may require another southlake run to hide his pump, but I charge a fortune, it is what it is

How does one hive rob the other hive?
