What are you doing today?

You want to avoid CAT (CT) scans at all costs because they expose you to 20-30 minutes of x-rays. They aren't safe and nobody (including JuiceBox) should be having them unless absolutely necessary.

MRIs are safe but they inject you with a contrast solution after the first scan and some people are allergic to the contrast solution.
My cat scan was less than 5 minutes, all of mine have been. Spine CTs are the most dangerous with the most radiation

Oh, huh I didn't know they injected you with something afterwards hmm...
Yah I could see how someone would be allergic then.

Yes I definitely agree that no one should get a CAT scan unless absolutely necessary. I'm not extremely scared about radiation from a small x-ray and stuff like that but those scans freak me out a bit ngl...

Water change day...went a bit longer this time 15 days..but I have just a medium stocked 29 gallon tank and nitrate level wasnt too high..also it's a over planted tank...

We’ll they inject it before/during. They do it for cat scans as well, but a different type. I’m allergic to the mri type

Ah ok. So they both have injections but different formulas. Makes sense.

Not a good day. Our cat had to be put to sleep.

RIP Leo.
So sorry for your loss @Essjay 😢

You and your family had a good life with Leo, he was very much loved and treated with respect and dignity right to the end

If you have photos from the day he came into your life and days, months and years afterwards, his toys, collars and other reminders of the puddy tat that he was, place them into a memory box that you can cherish and remember him as he was before he became unwell....the mischievious couch potato who did the 2am zoomies and the puddy tat who moved in and stole your hearts

RIP Leo...loved and respected in life, remembered with kindness and love in passing 😢

I still have the collars and dog tags from my two other dogs from my younger childhood... Every now and then I pull them out.

Isn't it incredible how we can have such a close relationship with an animal?

Went to our farmer's market and there were two alpacas there! Not for sale, just to show them (the people sell their wool and things made from their wool)

There's an alpaca 'farm' a couple of miles from us, the alpacas' field can be seen from the road. There are more and more of them every year. They do have open days though I haven't been to one - yet.

Oh that's really cool! You should definitely try to go someday... I've never been to one but... What's nit to live about fluffy alpacas? 😅

Yesterday I was home alone with my sister. I went up to my room when I got back from school ( I ride my bike). I watched Family Guy on my phone for an hour and a half, and then fell asleep, which is very unusual for me. When I woke up 2 hours later I felt nauseous. It was about 20 minutes later when I threw up. And I don’t mean once. I mean I threw up all my stomach contents, everything. Once that was over, I took another nap, still feeling nauseous. When I woke up it took less than a minute for me to throw up all the water I had in my stomach. I slept for 10 hours and I just woke up. I feel completely fine, except for my daily headache. This is the first time I threw up in years. Whatever my stomach had in it, it’s out now.

There’s one just down the street from us, unfortunately they lost almost all of their alpacas this last year from the cougars
