What are you doing today?

Heading to Bluewater today to take my niece shopping for her 15th birthday. My mum (nana) and sister (other auntie) will be joining us so will be a good girly day. Then later will watch England get knocked out of the Euros.. so glad hubby isn’t footy crazy 😂

I have platys, Mollys and endlers in my 20 g long tank. The endlers are all males but the platys and Mollys are of mixed sex. I have a steady stream of fry that survive long enough for me to rescue and transfer to my shrimp tank. There must be around 25 fry and juveniles from several litters (is that the correct term?). So today I will capture as many juveniles as possible and bring them to my local excellent fish store which has agreed to take my excess. Capturing the little guys will be a challenge. Just in case I made a small fish trap which I will bait.

Sitting in the Bristol Renfaire parking lot, waiting for the gates to open. Need some glorious mushrooms 🍄 😋

been a busy day. Taking brother to the hospital, resting at a waterfall, giving my official statement, speaking with my lawyer etc. Hopefully today was the last interview needed with the detectives and I can have some peace
Is your brother going to be ok?

Is your brother going to be ok?
He has a cyst on his brain; which was only accidentally discovered when they were trying to confirm that he also has PP/ATS like me. So there’s a lot going on but he’s good!

Have trike for 5 days and already pulled over by a cop... I was wrong and knew it. I was riding against the flow of traffic. No ticket or anything, just a safety warning. Personally I'd rather ride against flow than with as I'd rather see what is coming at me than behind but laws are laws. ;) Actually I was going to use the sidewalk, which I can, but a large section was dug up for construction.

I'll go by the law but will take a different route to the store to which I was going. Problem is that, with my normal route, I have to cross a fairly busy intersection that does not have a traffic light.

Against my better judgement I’ve been watching the England football team. “We” are now in the semi-final of the European championship to play Turkey or Netherlands. I have to remind myself it’s pro sport and not entertainment but they’re hard work to watch.

“We” are gonna get smashed by the Netherlands 🤣

The Euro tournament is like elections - I know who I am against but I have a hard time with being "for" any of the options. Spain has been fun to watch.
In the COPA, Canada has survived and the USA were knocked out, so that's good. But Argentina is up next, so Canada is going to be in trouble there. The big kids are coming to play.

So today it poured rain, then rained some more, and then really rained. Out in the fishroom I found and saved about 20 Ancistrus, and force hatched some overdue lampeye eggs. Beyond that, I watched two Euro matches - a bit of a lost day.

After getting stopped by a cop (per a few of posts above) and watching a baseball game I finally mounted the rear fenders on my new electric trike. Fenders would have already been mounted if I had been able to get a manual before assembly but that story has already been posted. Problem was that I mounted the basket before mounting the rear fenders on the basket which made mounting the fenders extremely hard to do if not impossible. Since I've been locking the thing up in the apartment lobby I needed to take down an Allen wrench to remove the basket to bring back to my apartment to mount the fenders and kept forgetting the wrench. So why is the thing in the apartment lobby? Well it is easier than folding and unfolding the thing and no one has complained including management. In fact several residents suggested that I keep it there.

Also added three Harley strikers that were sent to me by by a friend. He sent many but some are just too long to fit anywhere.

Anyway here is the rear end with the newly mounted fenders and stickers followed with the front fender with another sticker. Personally I think it looks good.

Now nobody will be able to tell its not a real Harley

You just need to attach a playing card to the spokes for that real Harley sound. 🏍️ Vroom vroom

Nope, the spokes are too heavy for playing cards. I used cedar shingles, ;) Actually myself and a friend did the stuff in the spokes thing when kids but didn't really care for the cards. Heavy balloons just sounded better even though they would wear through and bust.

Personally I would have probably not have put on Harley stickers on the thing other than to make a friend on my computer help forums happy, just didn't want to disappoint him as he sent them to me.

The Harley stickers will eventually wear out and will need to be removed/replaced. I could easily see dolphins with an overhead on the front fender with jumping dolphins facing each other on the back fenders. :)

Still several in my apartments have seen the added fenders and Harley stickers and the current vote seems to be 100% positive. :dunno:
