Playing with https://www.name-generator.org.uk/band-name/ trying to come up with a name for our Irish band. Best candidates so far: Flight of the Green Elk. Twilight of the Fiddle Gods. Puddle of Jigs. Green Convoy. Maybe I'll keep trying. 😆 🤘

Well, they are highly alliterative...

Went to the walk in clinic today. I have both Covid and a severe kidney infection
Is this on top of the brain and heart stuff too? Holy cow that's pure misfortune. How did you even contract covid? From what I heard you can't have been out and about too much so how?

Is there any good news whatsoever in terms of the other conditions?

And on top of me tearing my meniscus in my sleep the other day 😂

My sister in law brought it to me, felt so generous and shared her sickness 🥲

Not yet, still waiting on treatment, though the anti seizure meds have helped

Not my business but were you vaccinated against Covid? If not was it a personal decision or due to your medical issues?
Due to my medical issues I did not. I’ve had Covid three times

Trying to finish up school so I can get my CNA and go onto LVN or RN, brain fog and memory loss are making it hard. It physically hurts to think. I miss my mind…

Breathing a sigh of relief as I was able to pay my rent. All my income comes from three direct deposits and the server at my bank had a total meltdown so the deposits didn't process. After being down for a day and a half it is finally basically back up and running. Wasn't critical for me as I still had three days before rent would be late but was a bit concerning.

Really was a bit surprised that they don't have a redundant server running. Shoot, things happen and you deal with it and continue on. ;)

I tore my meniscus pretty solidly in my teens. Got it fixed in my forties. When you get the surgery, ask to watch it on the screen. It's quite interesting.

For the Band - Irish Elk.

I will! We know I already had mild tears in both knees but this is “probably shredded” according to the doc. I do love watching surgical procedures on film, medical stuff fascinates me, and with going into the medical field (hopefully) it’s even more interesting

OMG! I have found that I love Omaha Steaks apple tarts. Just placed a new order and found what may be even better as I'm a berry freak. Don't know if I just didn't see or if the item is new but it is the same pastry dough tart but with blue berries, raspberries and blackberries.
:)

Also ordered some sided I haven't tried such as Brussels sprouts with bacon and shallots. Also added a 'tray' of whipped sweet taters. When I cook I'll top with mini marshmallows. I've always loved that! It is sort of a faux candied sweet tater. Another new item for me is 2 1 pound packages of sirloin tips. Can use the tips in many ways but hope they will be good for a Stroganoff. Need to hit the local liquor store for Stroganoff as Burgundy is needed. I don't count stuff like cooking wine as part of my average food costs as I always tend to have due to doing a lot of cooking with wine. I just happen to be out right now.

I'll still have to hit local stores for some stuff but this is actually saving me money over doing all my shopping locally and the quality is really good. Let's see... what else new am I trying. Some will sound off the wall as I had no clue that they had stuff like this...
2 (14 oz. tray) Creamy Pecorino Orzo
8 (2.81 oz.) Pepper Jack Risotto Cakes
4 (3 oz.) Gourmet Jumbo Franks

What is totally cool is that I spent ~$285.00 USD on the order which is over $100.00 less than what I'd average at the local grocery. Even with local odds and ends I'm still saving money and eating really well.
