What are you doing today?

Continuing my apparent current shopping spree. ;) Just ordered the following entertainment center. My current one is just too tall since I increased my display sizes a while back. Current stand is 28.5 inches tall and blocks makes the 55 inch TV block a lot of the wall photos. This one being 10 inches lower will solve the issue. I could just raise the photos but that would make them pretty high on the wall.

Here is the current setup. You can see the issue. TVs are 43 and 55 inch.

I. Give. Up.

There. I said it. I give up trying to binge read the last 300 pages of this thread in order to catch up. I got to almost 200, and I just couldn't pretend to even skim through it anymore! I shamelessly skip to here and will try and dutifully keep up from here on out.

Can't believe this thread has almost 400 posts.

My God, you're a fricking legend for that. Respect

On Saturday (not today, I know, sorry) I drove an hour away in order to check an aquarium club's monthly meeting. It was so much fun! This month they did a "Fish Bowl" contest, where members (I'm not a member) who wanted to could bring in their fish for viewing and judging in different classes. There was a people's choice award given, and it went to a very pretty angelfish, though I voted for the only annual killifish there, the nothobranchius guentheri.

This was followed by like an hour and half of auction. It was so much fun to just watch! The runners would bring stuff up (plants to fish to live food cultures to equipment) and the bid would open! A reverse trio of cherry barbs went up, and I couldn't help myself, I bought them for 5 dollars! They are so big! Like literally, one of the males is almost twice the size of mine!
I refrained from bidding on the 7 medaka rice fish that went for 20, and now I can't help but think that I should have at least tried. I also couldn't help myself when a HUGE bunch of ludwigia palustris super red went up, and I got it for 12! It's so pretty! Literally almost purple, and the lady who grew them said she didn't use ferts or co2! I have to get a pic once it's dark out. So, all in all, it was a really good Saturday for me!

Hahah, please, seriously, no need. I was skipping two pages at a time trying to get through it!!🤣
I'm glad I didn't skip all the pages though, as I did find some very funny stuff and learned that you are a ginger.
Oh yahhh... I have a photo of me in here somewhere don't I?... 😂
Yeah, I'm a ginger... I'm so ✨blessed✨ to have these genes.
