Today I'm unpacking my cases from a fantastic Loggerhead Turtle trip holiday. I've had fun swimming in the blue caves with the fish too, 5 meters deep made perfect for snorkeling.

Well, my term paper presentation went well. I got a 9/10 grade. The thesis is huge (58 pages), almost the same size as the MS thesis, at least here in Brazil. I really like to present and to appear to other people. Maybe is my vanity?

They said that my thesis has the potential of being an innovation involving brine shrimp culturing. My ultra-low-cost brine shrimp culture is alive until now since I transferred my artemias from my term paper experiment (end of March). I never got anything so impressive like this, in 11 years... maybe can I name them Toyotis franciscanus? Artemioyota franciscana?



Must do some adjustments and... well, I must finish the bureaucratic internship (even as Brazilian we cannot comprehend this). Also, trying to contact some future advisors and discuss this for some possible MS.

Went grocery shopping this morning. Except for a rib-eye steak on the 4th it will be a sandwich week. Can do without this evening but need to go back to the store as I forgot lettuce and stacker pickles for the sandwiches. Not all that big on dill pickles on a sandwich but love to use bread and butter pickles.

At the moment I'm watching Cleveland Guardians @ KC Royals. Cleveland wins they are in 1st place by a game. If they lose they are tied with the Twins for 1st.

Oh, tried a new fruit juice mix today; apple/raspberry. Actually pretty good.

Gonna be scaping a new tank today, starting it with the dry start method.
I've also got a bad case of triceps tendonitis from lifting which hurts pretty bad. I can't straighten my arm

Having the dish washer in my apartment replaced as the old one started leaking from the drain line and pump seals. Surprised me a bit but it is cheaper to replace the unit than to fix. Glad that I don't have to pay for it.

Hm, well since you asked: made bacon and blueberry pancakes for the family on a Coleman stove, drove through miles of magnificent forests and beautiful farms, watched a school of darters harass a garter snake that was trying to catch fry, took a nap on the beach and a swim in FRIGID Lake Michigan, followed by more driving through more farms and forests, amazing foods I couldn’t pronounce from a polish food truck, and a lot of good old fashioned paper map navigating down back roads to the campground. Now maybe a bit of campfire music if anyone’s still awake.

It’s mostly drama with neighbors, and permits and stuff, but sultan wa is sketchy anyway. It’s a group of high schoolers (my brothers included) and their families running it to fund a school trip to Washington DC next year

We made $7000 today! Our goal was 5k, which we didn’t think we would make, so my brother said if we hit 5k he would cut off all of his hair (it’s well past his shoulders and he has refused to cut it for years)

Not gonna lie, I’m happy he is cutting it before my wedding lol
