What's new

What are you doing today?

You can use plant weights which will hold the plants on the substrate. The roots will go into the substrate on their own.
The rhizome needs to stay above the substrate and the roots are not strongly built like most other rooted plants are. I've tried (just out of curiosity) putting java ferns in sand and I don't see how even a weight could help lol

It works for me 🤷‍♀️ I just bury the roots and keep the rhizome just above. The roots on mine aren’t fragile, I wonder if yours are deficient in something making it more brittle?

Maybe...
I super glued them to rocks (just a dab of super glue not a ton). So I will habe to somehow get them off.

No issue with gluing such plants to stuff. Eventually the roots will reach the substrate. If such plants as Anubias and Java Ferns are glued on stuff that is fine as they tend to get most of what they need via the water column.

Yah but for some reason they are all paralyzed and not growing...

I have my first ever choir concert tonight, I'm kinda nervous
Cool! What are you singing? Just watch the director, remember what you've learned, and have fun with the music, and you'll do fine.

First song is called By Night. Second song is called Where the Light Begins. Third song is called Gate Gate (pronounced Ga-te). Fourth song is called Hero :)
