Sorry to see the time for the mile. I'm 68 years old and can still run a sub 4 mile. Of course that is a sub 4 hours, not minutes but, at my age, you tend to ignore such trivial differences.

I knew I was starting to get old when people started ending all compliments about my athletic accomplishments with "for a guy your age."

I'm waiting to see if my aquarium plants arrive today or not. The tracking number's last entry was to say they were at the regional mail centre 40 miles away. It's now 8.30 am and no update since 5 am so I'm not hopeful. They are on strike tomorrow so if they don't come today it'll be Friday, and probably dead plants.
I should have looked at the strike dates before ordering, or paid twice as much delivery for a courier company

Well that's a surprise - I've just had an email to say the plants will be delivered today. They arrived at the local mail office ready for delivery an hour ago.

Yessir, working my way up to 5K speed. (Have one in two weeks)

Last year I got a 24:02 but I didn’t train for it. This year I’m going for a 20 if that’s even possible for me.

I'd like to break 20 for the 5k one more time before I get old. But I keep getting these injuries...almost as if my body is telling me something. Further research is required.
