That told you AA
I don't know, I find the gouramis a bit bland. That's all they do all day, just touch each other. At least give me some babies to watch and get excited about
Ok, now that I have merged three journals into one I might aswell add the Malawi tank pictures. Just sorted through them and I got a few good ones. I will in the future though add the best of photographs in the correct section so I don't get told off
As I said before, this is a Vision 260. It had no lights (but can't complain with such a bargain), but nothing my man can't sort. We got a temporary light for now and will get a proper unit sometime later. Or not. It actually looks good as it is.
Painting round 3
Pretty limpopo sand

Can I just add (and I know I am childish), I always have to laugh at the word limpopo. Especially as popo in German means bottom
Time to fill the tank. Spot the feet
First FTS. Yes, MUCH more rock needed. Are you listening minnnt?
With flash to show true colours.
Plec lounging
And now time for my first malawis. I got them all from the same guy and they lived (or better the parents live) in the same tank so I trust him and hope I got good ones.
Red Rubins, Reuben and Scarlett
Forgot the names of them

Can anyone ID or I'll ask him. Still need names for them.
I also got three grown red zebras (Apollo, Aphrodite and Artemis) which are beautiful. No separate pics of them, but you will see them in the 'group shots' further down.
Now the best - the algae waver battle. I fed the malawis first and then chucked in an algae waver and all hell broke lose. They fought for it like crazy. Seriously, it's just ALGAE!!!
The duel (plec won this one)
You gotta fight!
And the winner is.... Apollo! He then happily swam around for like half an hour with that stupid waver in his mouth. Might enter him in FOTM too
