hi mate, i hink you may hit compatabilty issues with multiple blennys. They are very peaceful fish but will quite often not tolerate each other.

was slightly worried about that myself, but thought that as long as each had their own 'territory' and multiple 'caves' to sit in there should be no problems bar a bit of squabbling for the 'best' cave. we'll have to see what happens.

sorry guys still not got around to getting any pics. weather was tooooo good over the weekend to sit inside watching the tank.
Went fishing instead. total waste of time it was too, not a single bite all day.
was up at 4:30am as well! never mind.

the new clown has settled in really well. original female asserted her dominance friday evening and gave the new one a bit of a run around, but its all settled now, and they swim around together all the time.

as for the two blennies, they're fine as well.
the bi-colour has taken up position in one of the caves at the front of the tank and is on display nearly all the time which is nice.
The dot-dash however has decided that a cave right at the back of the tank under the overhang is fine for him, so is a bit difficult to see. He was patrolling around the tank yesterday evening though so hopefully he'll find a better place to call home (better for me anyhow as he's happy as larry round the back!)
all were feeding fine yesterday on frozen and flake.

got some new zoas off of fleabay as well. was meant to pick them up from the post office on friday after work but what with going the LFS instead i didn't get back in time.
i picked them up saturday morning instead and slowly acclimatised them. after a couple of days in the tank there looking pretty good considering.
not quite the colour i was hoping for. they were meant to be a bluey colour with red around the edge. they are in fact a grey colour with a reddy orange edge.
not sure if the pic was photo shopped or not, will have a look at them under actinics tonight to see.

anyway i've rabbled on long enough.

finally managed to get a few pics of the new arrivals though the dot dash is still staying round the back.

sorry for the amount of pics.
if anyone knows the answers to any of the questions hidden amongst the pics i'd be grateful.

WHY are you apologising for the amount of pictures, have you not seen my journal?? Pics is what we like :good:

I love that Bicolour blenny, I really want one for my tank, may be one of the first fish I buy after coming back off holiday.

Despite the zoas not being the colour they were supposed to be, they are nice anyway. Which seller did you get them from??

New clown looks good too, I do like mis-bars.

That is the monti I want to try, really like the colour on that one, was that an lfs purchase??

seller was oceancoralsuk
item number was: 280346406086
if you look at the item listing you can see why i'm a bit disappointed!

yeah it was from SouthWest Marines down in Bristol.

They look nothing like.

What do they look like under just actinics or moonlight LED's.??

I had looked at those myself, but in your picture they just look like orange centred ones I have.

That does not look photoshopped to me, it looks like a picture of another coral, the outside looks red with the inside blue. You would need to seriously change the hue and saturation which would affect the quality of the picture to get the colours like that. Even if you increased the red and blue in decreasing green in colour edit, you would still get the feeling you were watching a TV with too much red on the colour. I know, I use photoshop alot, if you clean up a picture it often affects other setting so you need to bring them back to normal. Unless they use photoshop more than I do (which would take some doing) I would think the picture was not of your zoas.
