I would like to know how the others are doing at the LFS... Could you do a follow up on that?
I agree, love to know if your "pep talk" had any effect

glad to see that cookie alright  cool vid B)

keep the updates coming

DD :)

2 week mini update..

Today Cookie ate an entire peeled prawn for the first time. His appetite certainly seems to be growing fast.

And, for the first time again, a noticable belly appeared after he had eaten.

He's also finally discovered what sand is for after spending his early life on gravel at the fish store.
Now he spends the night buried up to his eyeballs in the sand just like Martha did whan she was little (see avatar)

We'll try to get some more photos soon.

its good to hear again that cookie will be fine for the future.

yeh agreed with others, i wanna know how the other fahakas are doing

Thats a great story and Thank you for giving a lfs a peice of our minds, you spoke for a lot of people (and fish!) I Hope he survives, I'll pray for him!

I am curious as to how Cookie is doing? Is there any update? Any new pics? I think about him all the time so I hope you don't mind updating us! Thanks!

Oh My Garsh........... look at little Cookie GOOOOOO!!!!!

YAY!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Those shrimp really do look like ghosts, eh!?! :*)

More Cookie photos coming soon, but in the meantime, we visited the LFS he came from yesterday and were please to find that his remaining tankmates are now looking a lot more chubby and well fed. There were even some pieces of uneaten mussell still in the tank that looked fresh & recently added.

The tank & water was also spotlessly clean.

We were very pleased to have made a difference. :D

Here's an update, Cookie still seems to be coming on nicely. He's now put on about an inch in length since we've had him. He has what seems to be a deformed lip, but it doesn't stop him eating! oh no it sure does not!

Cookie's personality seems very different to Martha's. Where as martha is content to sit on her belly on the sand all day watching the world go by, Cookie is constantly on the move and tries to bite anything that moves in, or even near the tank.

Gotta watch my fingers with that one!

Anyway, enough with the waffle and on to the pictures.

Here he is greeting my entrance into the room.

As you can see, he's now developing the proper potato shape that he's supposed to have.

Here's a reminder of how he was when he came to us...

He's getting excited now, that's his prawn supper there defrosting in that net. Mmm prawny goodness...
cookieupdate1.jpg

He's had a couple of prawns now and is wondering why I keep staring at him...
cookieupdate2.jpg

Three prawns later and the little pig has had enough. look at that fat little belly! and what a messy eater!

Here's a close-up of him showing his deformed lip and designer stubble.

Lastly, Cookie indicates that he's had enough of being stared at. "Kiss my arse" he says.
