Can anyone help me choose the piece for my piano exam, please help me choose 3 of these, all of this are made by Chopin, my favorite romantic composer of all time.

I like 2, 3, and 5 the best. But, you have to choose the ones you feel the most comfortable playing, and you have to enjoy playing the piece. You can't just choose a piece because you think other people will like to hear it. You have to choose a piece because it moves something in you when you play it. Only then will you actually play the piece to your best ability. Does that make sense?

My piano :)
And yes, that Chopin pic on top of the piano was given to me by my teacher on my birthday.

I've always wanted to learn piano. It amazes me how pianists can manage to play multiple, often complex, parts at once. Nothing but the utmost respect anyone who can do that.

Also, being a metalhead, I have a lot of admiration for classical composers such as Chopin, Beethoven, Paganini, Brahms, Bach, etc.

Well, I think I'm all caught up on this thread now.

Add me to the lefty roll-call. My grandma went through a lot of the well-intentioned abuse some of you mentioned. @AdoraBelle Dearheart, your "Christian faith" comment surprised me; I'd never heard that. Did you know that the only mentions of lefties in the Bible are quite complimentary--great warriors, all of them? I have no idea where the idea came from the left-handedness is anti-Christian, since YHWH obviously had no problem with lefties on his side. Don't people choose the dumbest things to get hung up on?

@Barry Tetra: If I had my choice of all of those, I would definitely go with the "Revolutionary" etude. My piano skills never grew to the point where I could attempt that one, but I think it would be outrageously fun to play. And of course, playing something extremely fun is THE best way to conquer stage-fright/fear of failure.

@PheonixKingZ and @Flushable Pets: Either of you ever try the bodhran? That's my jam. :)

then choose one you feel most confident about and find a bit easier and do that one

Nope, but I do dig a lot of Irish and Scandinavian folk music which use them.

An update on the convict: She's doing ok. Her injuries are stable and haven't gotten any worse, so hopefully they'll start showing improvement soon.

I'm also done adulting for the day. Our daughter usually feeds the fish and our 3.5 year old son watches. Well, she goes to feed them and he brings his stool over so he can watch as usual. All of a sudden our daughter starts losing her mind and our son is laughing like a lunatic. "Shadow fed the fish a booger!". He proudly admitted to feeding the betta a booger. He thought it was the funniest thing he's ever done. I don't think it is going to hurt the fish, but that's nasty! Does anyone else have kids that do things like this?
