Mayhaps so but here I'd rather pay less for more even if your price is lower.Thats quite expensive.
In England 1 GBPS costly roughly £25.00 or USD$32.00

LOL! Easy for you to say but Spectrum has been my only choice for years and their service sucks.I generally change internet providers every two years to get latest promotional price. It helps to have 3 providers in my area.
I was one of the negative reviews for that piece of junk. It is no where close to 30x mangification. Does yours appear to be any where close to 30x?I'm playing with a new toy... well was. A while back I lost my magnifying glass which I need for fine print that is often too small for my reading glasses. Of course, since I just got a new glass the old one will turn up. In a 1-bedroom apartment I don't know how you lose things but I manage.
Anyway my new glass arrived today and I love it already! The missing glass was just a lens and a handle. The replacement is lighted with three light settings and is 30X as to power. The real kicker is that it was only $9.99 USD; The three AAA batteries needed for the lights are NOT included. With mice/keyboards for several computers, remotes and other needs I have a LOT of rechargeable batteries so was covered as to batteries. The unit has a 4.5 star rating with over 10,000 ratings.
The unit takes 3 AAA batteries and the normal Ni-cad seem fine for the thing as they are for mice/keyboards. Lighting would probably be brighter with true 1.5 volt batteries but the 1.2 volt Ni-cad rechargeable seem to do just fine. Ya, rechargeable Ni-cad batteries only put out 1.2 volts. If you have a device, such as my label printer, that wants 4 1.5-volt batteries Ni-cad just may not do the job. If you happen to have a device that won't work with Ni-cad rechargeable batteries it is due to the lower voltage provided. If you need a true 1.5 volt rechargeable battery you have to go lithium.
Light seems quite bright. I don't know if the thing is actually 30X but doubt it seriously. Still, for $10.00 USD it is more than I need.I was one of the negative reviews for that piece of junk. It is no where close to 30x mangification. Does yours appear to be any where close to 30x?
Also the light on these are pretty weak (or at least mine); i think they are closer to 3x to 6x and meant for reading.
Thought I'd add the three light modes. While a photo of lights can be deceptive I think these three shots do pretty well as to the lights... Since I'm using rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries the lights would be a bit brighter with true 1.5 volt batteries. The thing takes 3 triple A batteries so the lights want 4.5 volts but, with the Ni-Cad rechargeables they are only getting 3.6 volts.Light seems quite bright.
