I am watching a documentary on Vudu called "Air Guitar Nation". These guys are so uncool that they cool! It reminds me of back in my bar band days. We had one guy who showed up to every show and jam session we did and he was pretty much our unofficial hype up guy. He'd play air guitar and headbang the whole show and work up the crowd into insane mosh pits. I miss that guy.

@Flushable Pets, your tank looks very nice.

I guess I never gave that ZooMed wood much though. I definitely need a piece for my 20g long and my 5g betta tank. You said they were only $5 a piece?

I got them that cheap because my LFS is awesome. They price match online and I get a lot of coupons. Normally for a medium piece they are $10-15/ea at most stores.

If you haven't played with mopani before, I'll warn you that they leach tannins like crazy. When I first put them in a couple months ago the water looked like weak coffee it was so dark. The photos I posted make the water look a lot lighter than it actually is. It's more of a weak tea color now. Some love tannins, some hate it.

Oh, Yeesh, didn’t know they had so much tannis in them.

I am just looking for some cheap driftwood. Everything around my area is so expensive.

I'm looking for some driftwood too. I want to create a tree with the wood, and grow some monte carlo over it. I just don't want to spend too much money on it.

Time to hit up some local lakes.

Edit: My peppers have so many pods on their branches that they're sagging to the ground and about to snap. I guess I'm doing something right. They finally had tomato cages at Walmart. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to get them in there without damaging them...

I live on a .5 acre lake, and my neighbor has a 5 acre lake. I would love to go branch collecting, I’m just severely wary, as most of the branches in the water have been there for years, and are covered in slime/muck. :/
Get the dry ones at the edge, not the stuff in the water :)

I guess all the ones near the edge are “sticky sticks”. (Aka, just a plain old stick, no real good shape.)

The stick you see on the bottom of my 29g tank, I found on my property; I really like it. :) (the lighter colored one)

(I will go stick collecting sometime this week.)

Double post, but whatever. I can't wait for all my peppers to ripen. I'm going to be a sauce making fool come fall. Primarily fermented hot sauces, but I'll probably make some BBQ, Asian and Indian inspired sauces as well.

I'm going to overwinter a half a dozen or so of my hottest varieties so I have a headstart next season.

Never had carolina reaper, but my spice tolerance level says it cant be that bad :p

@Flushable Pets you're from Ohio?! Where at?

Carolina Reapers are definitely mean. They make Bhuts (ghost chilies) seem like a jalapeno. But, they also have a great flavor. Ed Currie really knocked one out of the park with it.
