Nice, find anything cool? Bristleworms come out to play?

However I do have them.............creepy looking things, they came in my Blasto - saw them creep out shortly after putting it in my tank.

OMG I want this................BUT they don't guarantee live arrival on this coral, it's a bit too costly for me to take the chance - oh if only I lived closer, but a nine hour round trip is a bit much even for me! Don't suppose anyone lives close and is coming my way  ??

I bought from Claire at Rare Ocean and I have to say its the best packaged coral I've recieved to date

By the way the links not working.

Re: the link, no it's not working but if you copy the id number to clipboard, click the link and go to the home page. Click on any product and substitute the id it will take you to the destination.

Or click this link.

Thanks for making the shortcut Cage (how do you do that?), link should now be working - have replaced and tested it :good:

What do you think.............shall I go for it, it is a beauty?

:fish:

Quite like the branching one as well, although different tip colour and it is covered by the live arrival guarantee

It's a beaut all right!

I share your reservations with the delivery though. An expensive coral with no DOA guarantee. I'd be too cowardly to go for it I think especially when I've just got this bout of Brown Jelly Disease which these species can be prone to.

Shame it's so far away!

If you have another option with the guarantee in place it may be the safer way to go. :good:

Oh and the link was shrunk using tinyurl.com There are a number of sites that do this.

BigC I just spot fed my blasto, oh wow - it sucked them in really fast :D Mind you it is really hard, will turn off power head next time. thanks for suggesting it - several things that I have read say they don't take the food - which i now know is rubbish :good:

Am very excited, contacted Claire at Rare ocean, who seems very nice - she is going to look at the coral and see if she can suspend it - if she can she will give me a guarantee - if not i am going to get the branching one

All's good then Sef.
As I said, Claire's a pretty decent lass, Their postage rates were quite high and I asked her was there anyway she could use RM next day delivery (as its cheaper). She went about the business and did all the leg work and to cut a long story short I recieved the coral in Tip-Top condition and it was the best packaging I've been sent to date.

:hyper: I'm off work :teacher: at the moment with high blood pressure, last couple of days!

This morning wake up to find only one clown, now I know there was two last night so i fear the worse - had a rock rearrangement yesterday so suddenly think, omg I have trapped him some where  Panic! Moves rocks AGAIN, corals not happy bunnies and of course I haven't trapped him!

Look in the weirs at the back, nothing.......really panicing now. Then just as I have the lid up, torch out looking in all the nooks and crannies (where does that saying come from?) when out of the corner of my eye i see a little head bob up out of the weir at the back - relief.

Ok, so he got himself in there in can get out, sensible thing to do is leave him and wait........................waited two hours, can't stand it!

Plan b, filled tank to busting point in the hope he will swim over the top, nah, he is having non of it!

Ok plan c, food, he is a piggy - let him see the dropper and put in some brine shrimp, nah, again having none of it, now he is swimming from one weir to the other looking at me with sad eyes

ok, plan d, get the net - of course he swims to the bottom and I can't get him grrrrrrrrrr, not getting stressed, really I am not  blood pressure by this time making my head buzz (don't think that is good!).

plan e, whiskey works for me so maybe it will work for him, well the glass anyway  hold whiskey glass at the top of the weir so that it is hidden by the water and ...........in he swims :kana:

Got to go to the Gp now for my daily test...............how do I explain blood pressure even higher now than before, he is never going to believe me

My little S*D has done this several times. Normally when the lid is open as I don't think he can get over the wall when it's closed.

I then means fumbling around trying to get my hand under him when he swims to the top or trying to get a small net under him. Those chambers are tiny and packed with equipment so it's a nightmare.

Glad you got him back

I see you went for it then :hey:

I had the same with a little yellow goby - managed to scoop him up with a spoon!! Nice looking coral can't wait to see a pic of it in your tank.

That website is amazing. I have been looking for some of the fish they have on there for ages, if you listen really carefully you should be able to hear my wallet crying from there :)
