The CUC add little bio-load, so realy, you want fish in the tank within a month of it cycling. If there is any chance that cash will run dry after the cycle, I'd probibly do fish first then CUC, but you could add food to keep things ticking over once CUC are in

okay, thanks ive found a place ive used before called tropical fish 4 u

for £40 (2 weeks paper round money which is how long im guessing the cycle will take) will get me all my CUC except my cerith snails. could i add shrimps at a later date as im guessing they dont do much for the Bio?

then a week or two later the clowns will come, if i put a prawn in a bag and leave it in whilst the tank is cycling that will give me safety net wont it?

will i need to dechlorinate RO?

as ive used tap in my fowlr before

The whole CUC does not realy add any bio-load, but if you antisipate the Clowns reasonably soon after the cycle, especially if you are feeding (small ammounts) the system, it should be fine to do CUC then Clowns

RO water does not need de-chlorinating, as the RO unit when functioning correctly will have removed almost all contaminants
