Thank you Richie... yes there is a blue pipe on the right, it is one of the outlet. Bad decision to have it there... :/

Hey, nice tank...

I was wondering where you got your crystal snails from!

Cheers...

Thank you Corin Castle, the crystal snails, mmm... I bought it about 8 years back from a gift shop, it ended up sitting in my tank. :hey:

Amazing tank, bright vivid pics, WOW  Can i ask what camera are you using?

Thank you AlexAndCarmen, I am using Pentax camera but forgot what model already, will check and let u know ya. :)

Thank you guys for the supportive and positive comments, soon will redo the whole tank guess... :)

Need some help guys...

If you were me, what fish will you keep in my tank? How many? Why?

I am planning to change the fish ... suggestions pls... Thank you in advance. :)

If it were me, as you've got quite a lot of colour in there already, I would what something colourful but relatively subdued, perhaps a shoal of Australian rainbows of the Pseudomugil family. Or i guess there is the old classic of a shoal of neons, green neons always look nice when I see them in the shops.

Sam

Thank you Sam, the rainbow fish should look nice but it might be a bit too big in size for my tank. I might go for neon or some smaller fishes... Appreciated the suggestion. :)

How about Pseudomugil gertrudae? Thats 1.5" but does tend to the be least common in the trade, in my experience.

Ohh yeah Sam, you are right, I do love the pic very very much...

How lovely she is...

But as you said, I think it is hard to find in any fish shops here. I have never seen one before... :(

I would love to have one...

Anyway, I plan to not rush myself into getting new fish for my tank yet, I rather do some study and research before buying new fishes... Give me some time and advices guys... I will give the tank a surprise once I found the fish I "think" suitable for the tank. :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have something in my mind, I have read a lot about the global warming issue recently, it directly causing flood, drought, etc. I am thinking of what could we (as an aquarist) do in contributing a bit to help the earth in our hobby?

Any idea to share?

Think you'll find its a h'e' ;) and I'm surprised you cant find them where you are you're not far from Australia. Guess what fish you get may depend on whats available then!

Sam

I have just added 6 Harlequin Rasbora into my tank and I will remove some Molly, Guppy and Cherry Barbs from the tnak later. I will keep oto, flying fox, neon tetra and lampeye in the tank together with the new fish.

Will post some pics so share soon. :)

The new fishes shoal... ;)

Some update of my tank...

- The hair grass and glosso are turning brown, this might be caused by the neglection during the leave.
- Replant some of the plant in trying to get what I want...
- Changed the live stock.

Some pics as below.

The water is a bit blury while I was taking the pics due to one of the root fertilizer has come out to the surface of the gravel and pollute the water.

This is about a quick update, please comment.

Hey guys, I have some problems with my hairgrass and glosso, seeking for help.

Both type of the plants are getting brownie, glosso's leaves are turning yellowish and torn off. I would just say that they are either dying or turning unhealthy.

Does anyone know what causes this? Could it be caused by the mixture of the Nutrafin CO2 kit flowing into the tank (this happened before the plants turned unhealthy, only small amount of the mixture got into the tank).

Anything I could do to help the plants?

Advise are always appreciated... :)

its its turning yellow u may need some iron which prevents yellow , and decaying leaves

I would suspect a lack of ferts of some sort or light. Remind us of what the ferts regime, substrate and lighting is?
