It's about time! Not loving the rocks either. The only time I ever really saw wood work well with rocks was in a river bed type biotope where the rocks were rounded and smooth and didn't contrast much with the substrate. A question, you still have the 4x54 t5s in this tank? If so, I agree with George and advise more bps as well. Remember, though you have less than 2WPG, this is a 110g tank and 1.96WPG is going to probably be high light in this size tank. You really don't have a lot of plantload in this tank. Are there any stemplants? I think I see a few crammed in the back, but not at the numbers I expected.

HI Arif, yes i agree the rena does look very nice but i think his hc is lacking some fe, maybe it would be nice if ed the manager would let us do a shop meet for those on the forum who are interested, i know George Farmer was interested in a visit one day, regards johnoh lol i was there at about midday 12ish yeah it really good i didnt get anything but it was nice looking around i really liked there display aquariums the birch rena is really gd.
ye that wold be gd im only half an hour away i agree with you on the hc there was a bit o an algae problem with it aswell but i saw many many algae shrimps in there working away on the hc.
its funny cuz they got loads of shrimps in there display tanks but they dont have any in the fish section cuz thats the reason i went for some shrimpcuz i got a massive algae problem in my 8g biotope.
