Good Luck with the fish John. I wouldve just got 100 Cardinals rather than get the Barbs. The effect would be amazing and not so sure the barbs will get on with them too well.

I altered my post, I misread your post I like tiger and torpedo barbs but my tank isn't really big enough for either.

Bloody Algarve is full of Brits John.

I hate going down there. Its like being in London with 60% Brits and the rest foreign.

Lisbon/Setubal area (Costa Azul) is quite cool. No damn British Lager louts here.

He says swigging on yet another Superbock...hiccup...hiccup.

As for Cardinals, I think there is a very good reason that so many people have them. Its because they look so damn good against green and under high lights are spectacular.

Hi Andy, i am actually going to villamoura to see my sister and her hubby who live there (cheapo holls) lol, as for the cardinals i agree i do love these little fish so much,regards john

better take the golf clubs. i love villamoura after a couple of golf holidays with the guys. er i suppose that makes us the typical brittish lager louts (although i dont really drink much). lovely courses over there and not too expensive. are you a golfer?

it will house a common plec, 10 cory's and about as many cardinals as i can fit in it.

nothing else. lovely fish, theyre common because they look great and shoal tightly. my angel ate 22 out of 25 in my rio180 so the angel's staying in the 180 which is moving to the office when the new tank arrives. that'll teach her!

Cardinals are great Might be tempted by them some time in the future I'm still wrapped up in Pentazona barbs though. Thinking of getting a nice bunch more to bolster my meagre shoal of 6 in my 180 litre.

In your tank, with nothing else? I would say between 70-100 added in batchs of say 10-15 over a few weeks.
