I was in the tank yesterday afternoon placing some new rocks in and attaching few more plants to the background, quite a strange experience to have the fish you usually view through the glass swimming around your legs
I dont have an underwater housing for our camera but Andywg has one for his and is quite keen on getting in the tank for some "nature" photography next time he is over.

Andy can not only not wait to go and get the nature shots but he is planning on taking the scuba gear so he can sit in there to get lots of pictures!

I'm trying to stick to a South american theme, not strictly a biotope of any kind but only stocking fishes from the Amazon basin.

I dont have a lfs as such, all the shops near to me are pretty average with little to interest me and i buy all my fish foods from the supermarket and fish mongers, so i only have reason to visit a local shop once in a blue moon when i need some filter media or medication. I buy the majority of my fish from Wildwoods and a few from Tropical Imports.
