nah...it was in a seperate bucket with tank water in..balancing 2 full buckets on an open drawer ... isnt a good idea
I was finished too...just took the syphon out the second bucket...and the drawer runner gave way .....
EDIT: plus the readings were going astray a few days before this happened...this is why i was doing the W/C and Substrate.

Tank 2 Still have to add wood and rocks in both these tanks, and getting rid of some of the ornaments...

yey sand ditch all those backgrounds and get yourself a tin of gloss black paint from homebase, £8 tops!

I've wondered about getting some plain black card from Hobbycraft, to use as a background. I don't currently have backgrounds at all.

yeah i thought of that...but i spose it would have to be waterproof as the water may run down the back of the tank and mak it manky!

Black or blue backgrounds aren't hard to find. Mine cost me 79p a metre.

i forgot to mention, thats a spray bar in the 1st tank filter isnt it? You should position it so it blasts out across the top of the tank to the left, it will give you much better circulation.
