Had the feather for just under 3 months now. Stunning creature, predominantly nocturnal and a LOT easier and hardier than the very delicate red variety.

Question for you Seffie, the vortech mp10, enough flow for the 550? thinking about investing in one but am still unsure? any thoughts?

Its certainly has enough flow - funnily enough I saw one on a tank the other day, it was super and the way I would go if 1) I had the money 2) I had a nano

Look around for a second hand one - the one I saw was in The Trop shop http/www.youtube.com/watch?v=rU5SDtolhHU you would have to play with it or you could end up with a very wet floor

Im not sure, you would have to see how much surface turbulance you get

Have initially re-scaped in preop for vortech pump, will propably tweak futer down the line before installation.

Still took delivery an elegance frag, black sun coral and a 4 headed-ed Duncan yesterday.

Really need to get a new camera!

They're around 30g.

The fungia is looking fat tonight too, taken a good feed of marine snow and sucking in that water!

I love my vortech mp10!! As far as a nozzle, if that's coming off your return you can drop it with the vortech. It will give you enough flow.
