Fluval Spec Work In Progress

I did think about yellows or greens but I remember reading somewhere they would breed with the Cherries as they are the same family and I'd end up with lots or brownish Shrimp?

LOL!! In a spec i would only want 1 species anyway tbh. :look: I have a 55 litre shrimp tank and it is brimming with cherries.

I'm hoping they will breed well in there, I'll just have to be careful and make sure it doesn't get too crowded, once my other tank has a few more hiding spots hopefully some can go in there.

Sounds good. :D With the Spec being such a show piece of a tank i would want the stocking to be the same. So, although there is nothing wrong with Cherries, something a little more desireable ONLY would be a better choice imo. Cherries are great for learning with though.

I'd love to set it or another slightly bigger tank up as a mini Sulawasi biotope with some Harlequin and Cardinal shrimp.

Thats what I'd go for if I had the space and could convince the other half that another tank was a good idea.

My £6 eBay tweezers arrived today which are excellent quality for the money, so I decided to try Steve's suggestion and move the twig from the front of the tank, the tank looks much less crowded now. What do you think?
