End Of My Journal *heart Broken*

Love it.
Also like the tannins. Very natural.
That severum's colours are great under that lighting and in that colour water.

Thanks!

Sadly though my camera's white balance doesn't work too well in the dark... the tank has white lights and no tannins

Hello, Must say I really like your choice in scaping your tanks. Love the latest one. Think I might add some rocks to my wood only tank :good:

Ps - Just to let you know I had success raising the temperature when my Neons developed whitespot when I first started keeping fish a couple years ago. It sort of seems to make sense in a strange sort of way! I try keep clear of chemicals these day.. Although my fishy mate did once nickname me 'Chemical Ali' as I used to bang stuff in at the first sign of a spot!

All the best & keep the pics coming :)

thanks.... there's a few small mopani pieces to go in still, but they are soaking... i've had them in a bucket, changing the water with red hot for 3x a day for the last week, and still the gunk is coming out.

i'm turning the temp down tomorrow... so far no more whitespots, and no flicking either....

my onion plants came... so the tank is very neary finished.

more pics to follow soon.

Looks like a parrot but ive never seen one with colours like that.

Edit: just read Gills post.

harlequin parrot? i am under the assumption that he will change to red... just as the orange one was the same as him, but has since started to change

well... i was worried they might be too deep... my plec knocked one out this morning and it appears to have started to rot... it had a dark brown fleshy part which i removed and then replanted it.

Wow, lovely looking tank and i really like your choice of fish

Thanks a lot... i'm much happier about the tank this week

i have to say i do wonder if he's going to change... he's got a slight red flush under his gills... but the smaller one is half his size and about 50% of his body is red now.
