well the wood should arrive early next week... that'll need some soaking.. also want some onion plants, but think my sand needs to be deeper for them... oh god, it's going to take ages!

Meh, i can make noises too, but for real the tank is nice. Whats the pinky coloured fish?

in the first tank...? a blood red parrot. he was probably the most characterful fish i've ever had!

Yeah I really rate them... although I can understand why so many turn their nose up at them, they really are a great fish - the perfect cichlid for people to have as a first time 'larger' fish. they are undemanding in terms of decor, water, food, and tank mates - and while they can be somewhat aggresive, they are also really amusing.

My two new ones keep doing this funny little 'dance' - they are both being quite nasty to each other but neither will give so they just keep moving backwards and forwards a couple of inches and spreading their fins. it's really cute.

Anyway... Here's some more pics of my old parrot and his tank...

You will probably see some of the same behaviour in the Severums. After all, Blood Parrots are made by breeding Severums and Red devil.

None of my severums have paid the slightest bit of attention to each other... even less so now there is only two of them.

Oh sorry, I didnt make clear what I was saying . I actually meant that the gerneral behaviour/personality will be the same. Not the "dancing"

i guessed that... i'm inclined to think they ar actually more aggresively than the sev's... just that they are less able to do anything about it... (too slow, can't bite)
