Coronavirus...post your thoughts here...

I usually order my groceries from a large grocery chain and have them delivered. Online they are showing no delivery available through the end of the month. Ouch. A friend of mine just brought me 10 lbs of chicken breast and pieces which should last awhile. Luckily I stocked up on many other items a couple of weeks ago. I'm hunkering down for the foreseeable future.
Me too!

They closed the bars and restaurants after 8pm here. I went shopping at Walmart and there was just a few people there.

Restaurants and bars herein MA are not allowed to serve people in the restaurant except for take-out. Schools are all closedl for 5 weeks...my bet is they might end up extending closure till the end of the school year in June. The US Goverment may give most citizens $1000 check within about 2 weeks. The government is considering a trillion dollar package to deal with the drop in the economy as businesses large and small suffer from lack of customers. Seems to me they are foreseeing a huge increase in cases in this country compared to the 6000 or so reported so far. Widespread testing will soon be the norm..when more are tested, most likely the number of cases will skyrocket in my opinion. Time will tell. Hunker down and stay safe and stay healthy.

It was like they were going out of business and liquidating stock...a BIG Supermarket that looked that empty. Never seen that in my whole 61 years here. Only on the news in war ravaged areas.
Sort of what my parents said ( long ago,not recent!) about WW2 rationing. They just went on and made the best of it.

If I run out of food, I have a few containers of fish food I can eat.

Me too. They had milk! They are closing at 8 PM to re-stock each night. Open 8-8. Food Town is opening from 7-8 each morning just for seniors over 65. I don’t quite make it yet but that’s nice of them.

As of 4 days ago, evergreen hospital near me was already overwhelmed and had triage tents for covid 19 cases overflowing in the parking lot

All but 13? (Think that's the right number) states in the United states have mandatory school closures
