Coronavirus...post your thoughts here...

I live in a country where government corrupted every single thing.
#1 police wont do anything to killers ,thugs and drug dealers if they have money and give it to the governs.
2# mask: from 0.5$ a piece upper the price to 1$ a piece, 60-90$ per box.
3# they give people money so they can vote for them.
Now thai people really hate government because of this. Really sad story :( the mask is the craziest price Ive ever seen...

Colin doesn't have any fish tanks.

How does he have a knowledge about them???
see link below.
I haven't updated that for a while but it gives you a bit of an idea about my past.

Update on the virus in Western Australia.
There's a special edition of the news on now (9:30pm) and they just had a doctor on saying avoid contact with people out in public. Stay at least 5 feet away from them. If you or anyone in the house gets this virus, everyone must stay at home for 14 days, by law. So it seems the government has done what I suggested a while back.

The Australian government has offered interest free loans to business to help them get through this.

14 retirement homes with elderly patients have been locked down in Melbourne to stop the virus getting in there. The old people are unable to get out and nobody is allowed in. They are all freaking out but nobody has said "How about using a laptop and video link them?"

-------------------
France has locked down its borders. The EU wants to ban flights coming in from anywhere.

I went to the shop today and got some food. I am now the proud owner of a jar of peanut butter, a packet of peanuts and a packet of frozen cherries. I will eat well tonight :)

Good! I'm very glad that you found some food! :)

So is it that you don't have any tanks because you moved? Or because your landlord doesn't alow it?

If they sack you for leaking this info to the news, I think you could have a legal case on your hands. You might be breaching confidentiality at work, but you did it in the interests of helping save lives in the community. These are special circumstances and most people would be on your side. And unless you have signed a workplace agreement with a confidentiality clause in it, they won't have a leg to stand on.

It's like the judicial system. You can't sue a judge or magistrate even when they get it wrong, because they were acting in the best interests of the community.

In this case, you are acting in the best interests of the community by informing people of a known pathogen that is killing people right across the world.

Quite frankly, the hospital and your place of work should be investigated for letting this happen in the first place, and for not taking proper steps to prevent cross contamination. They should have erred on the side of caution due to the fact there is a pandemic spreading across the globe.
I sadly did sign a confidentiality agreement, that's literally one of the first things you sign in orientation!

He said doctors tried, but they were stupid and messed it up even more. :(

One should never give up with the communications we have today.. here's my story.

I grew up with a rare skin condition, many Drs saw me, they knew nothing of the cream I really needed and I discovered this about 18 years ago on the internet! This totally changed my life! You can't expect a Dr to know everything, taking into account all modern recently acquired research.

I agree, doctors get payed to much for saying a quick google search to you, IMO. ;)

Well I am not a happy bunny! Dad had a bad cough which wasnt getting any better with antibiotics which he started on Saturday afternoon, anyway, he did a video call to some nurse who advise he might have caugh the coronavirus after getting an initial cold/flue from me. They have said having given a prescription for even stronger antibiotics that if he does get better indicating its not the virus, then this is fine, however, for the time being, we should intend on staying isolated for 14 days! Well I've been on Tesco website a major UK supermarket chain and there is no delivery slots until the 4th April (yes I realise this is after 14 days).

I've just been reading an article saying quick diy test kits are unreliable! Why do they bother make them if they are unreliable?

The same reason why they make aquarium test strips, to get your money.
