Last two batches. I don't know why. I feel like I have every base covered. Could be something with the parents. I need a batch from the Essex pair to see if the same thing happens. That way I will know if it is a water issue or not.

I have no idea what I'm talking about - BUT - could it have something to do with how frequently they are spawning? I mean does the quality of the egg diminish if she's churning them out all the time? I'm just thinking of the physical aspect of producing the egg and the, I guess, nutrients involved in producing them, could something get depleted?

Sorry for the waffle, I'm just speculating. I know you're filling them with loads of high quality foods....
