They have been at it for 8 hours. I thought they were done, and went to give the eggs a quick formalin treatment, only to find that the old couple were well finished and laid back smoking a fag, while the young guns had only shot a dozen eggs!!!!

........Oh to be young again

Saves being tucked in by mum, because you will fall asleep before the end for sure

Was it a swivel chair? Or one with extra back support, said to improve posture? When I was young I had one of the very first chairs said to improve posture................Was called the mother chair. I sat in it and my mother said "SIT UP STRAIGHT!" Improved my posture

I just checked, and the old couple did the business, as always, but the teenagers only managed to sprinkle dust! If I can count 12 eggs, from the Sunbed Orange Essex pair, I am being generous

Checked on them this morning. My old faithfuls have a great big brood, but those fake tan pair are having a laugh. They were at it all day and half the night, and only managed half a dozen eggs. Either that or they were eating them as they went along. Was their first go at it, so I will cut them a break I guess

Things are looking good. The eggs look great, and the parents are being extra attentive, fanning them like mad. Must be a good sign that they know something good
