Missing people because they won't use the doorbell.

If I'm waiting for someone to call to do a job, or I'm expecting something in the post, I have to sit in the lounge in total silence till they've been. Why? Because they ignore the doorbell and knock on the door. I'm thinking of making a sign saying "we have a doorbell, please use it". We have a porch sticking out on the front of the house. Then a door to the hall. The hall has 2 doors off it, one to the lounge, one to the dining room. Then a door from each of them to the kitchen. If I'm in the kitchen when they knock, the sound has to travel through 3 doors, and even if I don't have the radio and/or washing machine on, with 3 fish tanks' filters, a fridge and a freezer all humming it is impossible to hear the knock.

The reason they don't use the doorbell? The battery might be flat.

You should definitely get a sign for the doorbell. A lot of people have them now. I was getting sick of all the junk mail coming through my door so last week I ordered a custom sign from the internet that says "Every third person to deliver junk mail will be shot. The second has just left". I haven't had a flyer in days

Just remembered my ultimate work rant. Patients who come into hospital and bring all their possessions! It comes to meal times and you cant put their tray on the table because its piled high with unnecessary items. You cant move the items to their cupboard because thats overflowing and the top of it is covered in even more stuff. You cant put it on the floor because that would be unsafe and you cant put their stuff on their bed because its all individual items!

and then you get the patients who treat the trays as bins.im sure the kitchen wont be best pleased if i send back an empty plate, 2 magazines, 1 newspaper, your false teeth, dirty tissues, loads of sweet wrappers and a full urine bottle

Such a lovely weather to walk to school for 2,5 kms.

Yeah, I'm having loads of clothes on, but the wind makes it even worse, and it feels like my face is going to fall off. D:

People that think its ok to hit your door and others while in the car park, just because their car is worthless they think its ok to do it. Drives me crazy, tend to park as far away as possible from any other cars but still see people do it to others all the time.

People who think speed limits don't apply to them , I am so sick to death of people in the morning when I go to work decide that any old speed between the posted 80km/ hr and 50km/hr is fine and when they finally hit the 100km/hr sign do a vague 80-98km/hr. And just as you approach the one and only short over taking lane these same people suddenly discover they have an accelorator and do 105-110 , only to promptly slow down to their previous speed at the end of the overtaking lane . I then get almost the same on the way home, almost as soon as you come off the round about leaving town the speed is 80km and then a quick change to 100km. The trouble is people are so busy gawking at the horses or whatever at the pony club near the signs they miss the signs entirely and putter along doing a vague 80km. Once again they hit the one and only short overtaking lane and usually stay at putt putt speed or suddenly accelorate up to 100km, only to hit the picks and slow down suddenly because the over taking lane finishes just before a bend in the road. I know for a fact this bend can be taken at 130-140km, in either a ute or 4wd even a hatch back (my husband maintains I not only have a lead foot but also a brick attached) so 100km/hr is a doddle for any sedans etc. Getting this nearly every morning and afternoon 5 days a week, all year for the past 8 or so years is really driving me NUTS .

+1 I have 2 dents in my car from people who've done that to me in car parks & not owned up to it.
One is definitely from a 4x4 as no ordinary car door could've hit it there, but that's another rant, 4x4's in small towns grr!

I'm always so careful not to let my door hit anyone, & they must've known they'd done it as the dents are obvious,they couldn't have not noticed

FUUUUU! It's not a good idea to go to school when tired and angry. There isn't enough space for me to do my sculpture since the scuplting room is already full of people (and my statue of Amenhotep III is huge) and there isn't any other space where I could cut styrofoam. I should spent 8 hours at school today, and it looks like I'm not going to do thing. Why did I bother coming at all, especially when it takes me 1,5 hours to travel back home anyway?

maybe not very pc,but what really cheeses me off is when people with disabled car badges park in the parent and child parking spaces,but if anyone dares park in the disabled space without a badge god help them. i know not very pc but just cheesed me off today at tescos .

Which leads me to....
The fact that pc has gone way out of control. Hard to open your mouth these days without being racist, sexist, ageist. As for the 'lets protect the poor perpretrator' crowd, never mind the poor victims getting no second chances!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost forgot-Water chestnuts. They should be banned. The ruination of many a stir-fry. I know many people like them but I hate them with a passion.
