@ isnail, i havnt decided on fish choice yet, all i have in atm is a bn plec(dont ask) but first things are cherry shrimp when the water quality improves a little, and then i recon some type of microrasbora, or lampeyes.

Cherry shrimp arrived this morning they are just getting settled in, i will get a quick pic when the lights come on later, i rekon i have about 20.

Just been to the lfs and purchased 3 Otto's, one is really nice and big also i have used some spiky moss ontop of certain rocks, this looks pretty poor now, but im sure in a few weeks it will be awesome. will try and get some pics, just got alot of work to do atm

Hello, I have taken some pics of my new livestock
I brought 3 Ottos and have 20 Cherry shrimp, 2 of the cherrys are carrying eggs already, which i am very excited about!

a nice set of pics there mate, one thing a do recommend you do is get some anubias nana petite in there around the rocks, with them being slow growing theyll attract algae, your ottos will last 5 mins if theyre not fed properly, and there diet should revolve around green algae, substitutes alone wont keep them alive.

ok, i will think about it, there is a fair bit of green spot algae on the glass, as you can probably tell

I just chuck in a wee slice of cucumber or a couple of peas for my ottos - keeps them nice and fat

lovely tank, can you keep any more fish in there with the ottos or will the shrimp and 3 ottos be the limit for that tank

I am planning to also keep a shoal of small fish, maybe a microrasbora species, still deciding atm
