How are the oscars getting on buddy?? i have to say the tank is stunning, i want it, im going to steal it ;) how i dont know...myt just be easier taking your house, almost the same size :p, good job bud :y:

don't think i'll be upgrading anytime soon! if i did i would have to get a custom made 7x3x3 and that would cost me more than id like to spend!
i'd settle for a 7x3x2.5 but even if i sold this one i would not have anywhere near enough as i'd need to set up a bigger tank from scratch! so i'll be keeping it for quite some time!!
the oscars are doing good mate, they tried to pick on the tigerfish but its a feisty little chap and chases them away, they just stay at opposite ends now and all is well and theres enough room to go around lol.
will put some more pictures up when i can get decent photo's, will see if i can get some tomorrow as im messing around with it anyway, need to go get some more jubilee clips for the fluval fx5 i just got as the numpty at the shop gave me the wrong ones with the new pipe! so hopefully will have the third big filter up and running by tomorrow dinner time! haha

The pair of wild oscars, about 6".
they are still a bit shy so swim from the camera but will get a better picture when i can.

they come from the same shop as bens (always4lora) wild oscar, north lakes aquatics??? dont know, they seem ok though, still a little shy.
my internet keeps messing up, got some pictures of the tigerfish but it keeps going off when im uploading! will have to see if it is ok tomorrow.got the fx5 up and running now so now have 2 eheim pro3 2080's and a fluval fx5, quite happy with it now as far as filtration goes!

will try and upload some more pictures but if it won't work i will do it tomorrow!

Dave

another of one of the oscars eating, with the tigerfish sat under the bogwood to the left of the oscar, it is also very shy at the moment so better pictures to come as and when it ventures out more!

wow dave, im green with jealous rage right now, i wish i had an aquarium of that size.

Hi Dave.
It all seems to be coming along nicely.

Your Oscars look great, if they are wild they might get huge like my 44cm one.

I also keep Oscars and Dats in a tank together, they get on just fine. The dats are boss though. here is a pretty awful pic:

the red tailed shark is about 5-6", obviously it won't stay still whilest i measure it lol but i reckan it is about that size.
