7 Foot, 1074 Litres, 284 Gallons.

thats from 2007 mate, thanks anyway, im doubtful im gonna find one, thats the only reason i've been looking for an alternative tigerfish. none are as nice as the pulcher but the undecimradiatus are the closest looking ones i think.
anyway if someone does stumble across one don't hesitate to let me know!!

cheers,
Dave
Evening Dave!

I Will Defently take some pics if they got any.

And keep a eye out for this fish your searching for!

You seem as-if you know your LFS.
Also!

£150 For 2 rays is exellent!!

The ones i saw where going for £75 each. witch is near enough £150 they sold fast though..

thats good, im getting 3 rays for £133.75 which i think is brilliant, thats $35 each and delivery.
can't wait, thay are out of quarantine on the 1st december ans should receive them shortly after!
also should have my tiger fish ordered tomorow! will only be small but i have a couple of tanks they could be grown on in, but as long as they are over a few inch's they should be fine to go straight into the big tank, they are datnioides microlepis and hopefully when the ones i really want come along i can add them too!

will update if and when i find out about the tiger fish!!

3 Rays!?! wow... sounds very nice!

yeah they are 1 male and 2 female reticulatus, not the most stunning, but i got to start somewhere! i will love watching them all the same, and within the next couple of years it will be my aim to breed them, then i know the tank is right to start splashing out a few grand on some black rays!
will get some more pictures up once they are here and in the tank.
hopefully they will like it and settle in well!

Ok hmm

Now to figure out where you live and stela these rays while you sleep :good:

Also

Yea. They'll settle well with oyur expertese :)

i don't have any expertise with rays!
i'm getting these because they are cheap and i can learn from these hopefully what i need to successfully keep the more expensive black rays.
i have been told by an experienced ray keeper that these rays tend not to last too long in the aquarium, so if i successfully keep them then its a bonus, if not i will learn from it, its just all about gaining experience, and hopefully i will enjoy it all!

thats a bit steep lol
well depends on the tank and stand and equipment it came with i suppose, i payed £450 for this tank and glass sliders, stand, hood, 2 twin t5 light sets, 2 eheim pro3 2080 filters, 3 heaters (well 4 including the spare one), a full new set of pro3 media which is about £80 on its own! i hired a big luton tail lift van for £80 and diesel was about £70 so about £600 for everything all together, thats about he best deal i have ever had!
i have made room in the stand now for a third external filter so just looking for a good deal on one now! i want another big one, i just don't think these big eheims are enough, they say they do upto 1200 litres each but i wouldn't trust one doing half that, id sooner have my fluval fx5 back anyday! nevermind. so if anyone knows of any cheap fluval fx5's for sale don't forget to let me know!

Dave

yeah it all depend like i paid 250 for my 9y3 by3 but it had nothing but bulkheads

so i had to make stand and everything

also i can understand your happiness with the tank now as we put the sand in mine today and it looks stunning all i need to do is fill and cyle and fit a lid

also nice deal on the rays

also dont know what you say is cheap but this dont seem to bad

yeah mate i saw that one but i cant get to Leicester and he won't deliver, no good!
will keep looking, i check the classifieds every day!
if push comes to shove i can buy another new fx5 for less than £130 delivered so if i don't find one i will do that.
yeah should get the rays 1st week in December, they are only reticulatus but still, i cant wait!
got most of my fish for sale in the classifieds section if your interested in any!
also my juwel rekord 96 and a fluval filter and a rena heater!

Dave

yeah just had a look and none are on my stocklist

and the heaters i brought the other week

and the filter im using a 200 gallon sump

thanks any way now if you had silver dollars or a clown knife id rip your hand of if you could post but ohwell

there is a member on here called rust, he offered me about 7 silver dollars, nice size too, if you pm him to see if he still got them he will do you a good deal im sure!

yeah id of gone for a sump but didn't want to go down the drilling route, so just stuck with the eheims, definitely going to get another external of at least 1200 litre tank capacity giving me enough filtration for a 3600 litre tank, not bad for the 1072 litres! still need to find 3 hydor 300 watt external filters at a good price!!

yeah i went with a sump as it was the easiest option gonna go pm rust

huh they had put a ad up today but its collection only

same also

do you heaters struggle to get it to temp as im gonna see what 3 300 watt heaters do to mine

but wernt sure if yours struggled
