:crazy: OMG!!! my dalmation molly has droped 70 fry i was watching her and i saw half of a fry coming out and so i grabbed my net and scooped her and put her in the breeding net .... and she had 30 ther so aid thats all i want i figured she would only lay like 5 more and now ... its up to 70...

Yah when your fish is pregnant they have been known to swim up and down i have a pregnant dalmation molly and she swims up and down a bit so i hope she is about to drop her fry :thumbs:

:unsure: my dalmation molyl is quite prego and im putting her in the net when im around , but when im asleep i take her out cuz if she had then in the net whiel i was asleep the female would eat them all cuz htere is nothign to hide in in the net :(

Welcome to the forums! first of all are the fry in a breeder net or are they swiming with the adult mollies? if they are swimign with the adult mollies then most likely they got eaten ... but if thye were in a breeder trap ...that eraly dont make any kidn of sence were they missing or were...

most usaly it take about a hour to an hour and a half for them to get done but if they are nto cared for and stressed all the time it can take a logn time withc is bad for the fry... :blink: :crazy: :/

[COLOR=blue] that sounds normal to me , my mollies do that sometimes , it might jsut been an early on that was to matured and the others havent developed all yet good luck

I highly recomend the net breeder for these reasons , the food that the fry dont eat goes threw the nets holes and in ot the tank that gets filtered up , not as muhc as a hasle , cheaper , and really easy to set up ... i bet others can name a few mroe reasons why nets are better then plastic. :D

:D A method i use for my fry is i buy baby brine shrimp that helps then grow faster or u can get someone the adults flake food and put it in a ziploc bag and pulverize it till its a fien powder , well good luck :kana: :)

u might wanna check if u have a female and a male , first :nod: THEN see if u can do soem reserch with google on the breedign conditions for the guppys, Knowledge = power and she might even be pregnant , if she is a female :sly: and jsut hasnt started shwoing wait a week befor eu do anythign...

Hmmmm , sounds pretty serious i suggest u go to a pet sotre and aska worker there about the symptoms and if u do not wanna do that then u could go in the aile that the fish medication is and look for tablets that u put in there for similar symtoms. sorry that i couldnt be mroe of help , i dotn...

CONGATULATIONS!!! on the palty fry , my mollie is doign the same behavior ( swiming up and down ) she should soon start haveing ehr fry , but yah buy a net breeder nto a plastic one ( they seem to cost more and are not as good as nets) and to feed the fry buy some brime shrimp at the pet store...

yah color dont matter at all its jsut the species but make sure that its a female and a male u have in tank :blink: :P and they should be fine but i recomend u but a net breeder if u havent already for when the female has her fry u cant swoop them up and out in the net breeder

Ok , chances are liek the others have said above the fish most likely ate the fry , you might wanna go buy some java plant and put in your tank and when u arent aroudn if she has babys agin they can hide in the java till u can net them up and put them in your breeder. or u can buy a lot of...
